I am always looking for a fun excuse to get my girlfriends together, and with award season upon us in a few short weeks, I’m looking forward to gathering together on Sunday nights to tune into the various award shows (but let’s be real, I’m pretty much only interested in watching the dresses hit the red carpet). I know we don’t have many more years where we will all be in the city and can easily pop over to each other’s places on the drop of a dime, so I definitely want to take full advantage. This year, I have partnered with Hills Bros. Cappuccino to participate in their #CappTheNight campaign and thought it would be fun to share a glimpse into setting up for a girls night to watch the Golden Globe Awards.
Over the past year or two, I have realized as much an I love enjoying a nice glass of red wine, it typically puts me to sleep a lot faster (adulthood problems). And when having my girlfriend’s over, I know I need to stay awake the entire time, both to be a good host and to try to make it to the end of the show — I know I can’t be the only one who struggles to make it through these 3+ shows. Thus when thinking about the menu for the evening, (which I typically stick with a desert bar theme), I always want to offer a warm pick-me-up beverage in addition to wine.
A few years ago Matt’s parents got us a Keurig machine for Christmas and it is still one of my favorite gifts. When having people over I can customize everyone’s order from tea, to coffee to cappuccino. When I was recently introduced to Hill Bros. Cappuccino Single Serve Cups I knew it would be perfect drink to offer for girls night. The single serve cups come in a variety of flavors so everyone can choose whatever flavor they prefer! Coffee late at night will keep me awake for hours, where cappuccino is the perfect pick-me-up, but not overly caffeinated.

I am a traditionalist when it comes to cappuccino and will always be a french vanilla girl, although I am tempted to try the salted caramel!
