How To Refresh Your Home For Under $50
January 29, 2020

Each New Year I am always looking for ways to refresh and reorganize my home. This year in particular was important to me as it has quickly accumulated WAY more since Logan was born. I am the type of person that at the end of the day I need to put away every last toy, knowing that hours later in the morning they will all be out again. But those few hours at night that things are tidy and picked up are everything to me.

With that all being said, I was on the hunt for a few new items to rejuvenate our space without breaking the bank. Walmart came out with a new natural home decor line that is right up my alley, affordable and filled with adorable things, mostly under $50! Whether you are looking for new storage ideas (we use these baskets to hide things under our couch and store some of Logan’s toys) or general decor items, Walmart’s new line has you covered!

3 WAYS I REFRESH + REJUVENATE MY HOME:

  1. Add some fresh flowers – I found this cute, neutral vase from their new line and loved how it added a touch of color to our home. I keep it filled with fresh flowers when I know we are in town and something so simple makes such a big difference to me. I find Trader Joes to have the most affordable flowers that actually last. I also love simple eucalyptus as well, which always smells amazing.
  2. New pillows – Adding new pillows to your couch, chair, bed, etc. can be a great way to refresh and gain a new look. These navy decorative pillows were the perfect touch for our space. I was so impressed with the quality for the price and love that the covers can easily come off to be washed.
  3. A new cheese board – Might sound silly at first, but hear me out! Personally, I LOVE hosting and look forward to crafting up new cheese boards and ideas for when we have friends over. I am always on the hunt for cute ones that can also be displayed out amongst your kitchen on throughout your house. This marble one caught my eye and while I love using it as a charcuterie board, it can also house a few candles as a display on my kitchen counter, or lean against our backsplash as kitchen decor.
