With December now in full swing, there are always so many fun gatherings and get togethers with friends, family and co-workers. When Matt and I decide to host a gathering, I like to make it a bit more special, particularly this time of year when their are so many other parties, and send out invites in advance. It helps everyone actually mark the date down on their calendar and feels a bit more formal. I am a big believer in that small extra touches go a long way! Walmart has such a great selection of holiday cards and stationary that are high quality, but a low price point. It has quickly become my online go-to for getting invites (and other stationary) made and quickly shipped for me to send out.
Another fun idea with any extra cards you may have leftover from your order is to incorporate them into your event. This may be setting one at each place setting if you are having a dinner, or you can frame one and place it by the bar or where appetizers might be set up. Just a few suggestions so none go to waste (and since you typically have to buy in groups)!
Walmart makes finding, selecting and creating your card easy — if you look at the right sidebar you can break things down by category, occasion, color, etc. Make sure you aren’t afraid to get creative as well. For example, the card I used wasn’t actually in the “invitations” section, but I loved the way it looked and when editing some of the wording was able to make it customizable and useable for our holiday party invites. Make sure you utilize all the offered features as well, such as having your addresses printed on the envelopes, it makes sending everything out simple and easy!
If you have any questions on selecting and or editing holiday cards, stationary or anything you may need year round, please ask in the comments below! I love working on these types of projects and creating special memories and keepsakes to make something feel a bit more special. Also, keep in mind that Walmart offers free shipping on orders over $35 so you can save a little extra here as well! Happy holidays, everyone!
