Mudroom Reveal
August 27, 2021

I wanted to share our mudroom reveal, as it is small, it holds some of my favorite pieces we have in our house. Having a mudroom already built has been the biggest blessing, especially with a dog, toddler and rainy days. My goal though, was to create a space of function, but keep the clutter at bay. During the summer months we filled the space with beach towels, flip flops and hung up our hats, but as we approach the fall I wanted to switch gears and create a bit more of a cozy space.

I love the natural light that pours in the side window and for now the 3 cubbies they had already built work great for our family. There is a small coat/utility closet directly across from the cubbies in which I had our contractor install an outlet to hang up and hide our Dyson vacuum, but also have it easily accessible on our main floor. My dream plan would be to remodel the floors down the line to something more like this, a lighter herringbone stone (first image), but very content with how it all looks for now!
