During a Q+A I did the other day over on Instagram Stories, I received a few questions asking what my favorite affordable skincare products were. I decided this would likely be a helpful blog post so here we are, sharing my go-to skincare favorites under $15. You can find everything at Walmart, they have a HUGE beauty section with endless choices and suggestions. They also offer free next day shipping on so many of their products!
Aveeno products are great. They work well with so many skin types and when I am using a face wash/scrub I look for one that has exfoliators to help removed all the dirt and makeup.
Another go-to brand for our entire family (especially Logan) are all the Burt’s Bees products! This brightening eye treatment is great for no makeup days, or simply applied as part of your skincare routine in the morning and at night.
I have sensitive skin, so I always looks for skincare that focuses on that, especially when it comes to my face. Being fragrance free is key for me!
My dermatologist first introduced me to CeraVe years ago. This night cream has a hyaluronic acid which hydrates and helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
The most satisfying products for cleaning out your pores! These strips remove dirt, oil and blackheads. I promise once you use once you will become hooked! I try and use 1x a week.
If having to choose just one mask, I gravitate towards charcoal. I like to be able to see where I am applying my mask and then the feeling of it drying. L’Oreal makes a few types of these masks, but the charcoal is my favorite.
Goes along with my above note, but this is a great pick for sensitive skin, which you always want to be cautious of when dealing with your under eyes.
About a year ago I tried out Walmart’s Earth to Skin line, which is all natural and was rather impressed, especially for the cost. I tried one of their sample kits and one product that stuck with me was this anti aging serum.
Always, always, always have cleansing towelettes on hand, but DO NOT use instead of washing your face. Add it into your nighttime routine. I will remove my eye makeup with this cleansing water + cotton pad first, then use a towelette to remove as much makeup as possible and then I finish with a cleanser. This trifecta assures you that all makeup and dirt is removed and you can go to bed with a clean face!
A big thanks to Walmart for partnering on this post!
