I have owed you all this post on my summer beauty favorites for awhile now! I have chatted before how I don’t switch up my makeup a ton, but I do lighten things up a bit over the warmer summer months. I don’t like anything too heavy on my face and actually prefer to have my freckles show. I thought I would list out my go-to favorites for achieving a natural glow. Everything I use can be found at Nordstrom which is great since they have free shipping and returns!
When it comes to mascara, this primer is my absolute go-to, it is on the pricier side, but worth it in my opinion. I also wanted to break down my two favorite mascaras for you all. The top one has a thinner, curved brush which helps separate and lengthen. The middle style is my personal pick and the one I use the most. It has a fluffier brush for bolder lashes.
A few things to note, I always start with my moisturizer and then either apply the TULA Protect + Glow serum or the TULA Face Filter. From there I move on to the NARS tinted moisturizer (additional SPF), eye balm for under my eyes, bronzer (use a big fluffy brush) and blush. I then move onto my eyes and add the primer to my lashes and while it sets for a minute I go in and brush my brows upward with the brow brush. Finish applying mascara and then my final step usually are my brows. I start with the lighter shade of this brow powder and do small strokes to fill in the bigger/bushier parts of my brow. Then go into the darker of the powders to fill in the “tail” of your brow. Add some dry shampoo, a spray of perfume (this one smells heavenly) and you are good to go! I will be sharing a tutorial on my Instagram Reel if you are looking for more details!
