In the beginning of 2020 I made a resolution that I wanted to switch out my pots and pans for non-toxic cookware. I had made the switch in a lot other facets of my life and with as much as I love to cook I realized it was important to finish “cleaning up” our kitchen as well. I started the research process and through that discovered Our Place, and was instantly intrigued by their Alway Pan which does the work of multiple cookware (fun fact: 8 in total) with just one.
The Always Pan, which comes in 5 colors, allows you to sear, braise, steam, strain, saute, fry, boil, serve, store and so much more. To explain a little more of the nitty gritty, it is non-toxic with a non-stick ceramic coating all free from PFOAs, PTFEs, other PFAs, lead, cadmium, toxic metals, and nanoparticles. One thing to note, which I hand wash all my pots and pans anyways, but to ensure durability, it is preferred to hand wash this pan with a gentle sponge. They actually provide a natural sponge for any really “stuck on” gunk that works great.
To be honest, I was the most hesitant about switching over from my traditional cookware thinking that everything would stick to non-toxic pans and I have been by far the most impressed with this not being true. In actuality, if you have been watching my Stories you will have seen how shocked I have been with how easy things can move around the pan and come out with no mess. Easier that my other cookware!
I also thought their bowls and plates (3 colors) are adorable and picked up a set as well. They are made from porcelain so extra durable and oven safe. You can also put in the dishwasher and microwave! This night, I tried a new beef and broccoli dish and made everything with just the Always Pan. Steaming the broccoli was so easy with the basket to lift out and then I cooked the beef and added all the ingredients back together. I will leave the link to the recipe I used here.
A big thanks to Our Place for partnering on this post!
