A big thanks to AVA Grace Wine for sponsoring this post!

AVA Grace Wine

Our windows are open, winter decor put away and swapped with all things spring. This is the time of year I look forward the most. To celebrate this gorgeous weather and finally putting the never ending winter behind us, I decided to have a small dinner party with some of our family that lives in the city.

I wanted to create a minimalistic, spring tablescape which would pair well with the beautiful AVA Grace Wine bottles that we would be drinking and the menu that would be served. When you have wine that looks this pretty, you want to leave it on display and incorporate your tablescape around it. For this evening I decided to go with AVA Grace’s Pinot Grigio, which is zesty and bright, filled with stone fruit aromas. It is crisp and medium bodied, with hints of honeysuckle and lime. I also offered their Rosé, which is fresh, crisp and dry (my preferred style of rosé…nothing too sweet). This wine also has hints of apricot and honeysuckle, which pairs well with the Pinot Grigio.

If you are new to hearing about AVA Grace wine, the inspiration behind this collection stems from the word “AVA”, which means life. Life is found weaving in and out of the vineyards each and every day and brings graceful moments with every sip.

On the menu for the evening I cooked a lemon crusted halibut served with roasted asparagus and a apricot quinoa salad. My goal was to create dishes that would enhance the flavors of each wine and accompany them perfectly. AVA Grace wine offers six different wines, so no matter what is on your menu you can find something that will enhance whatever you may be making. Also, one of my favorite things they offer are their Pinot Grigio and Rosé wines which are now available in a can as well. If you are a picnic in the park or on the go type of gal/guy like myself this option will fit into your lifestyle perfectly! We always head to the beach during the summer months and having these two wines available in a can will make life so much easier. The cans are just as adorable as the bottles and you can sip right from the can or add a cute straw. For my next dinner party I want to tie a patterned straw with twine around each can and add a tag for my guests name so they can find their seat, but also have something to take home with them. This would also be an adorable gift for any bride-to-be looking for a “how to ask your bridesmaid” idea.

If you are curious as to where AVA Grace wines are sold, you can use their location finder on their website (just scroll down). It is a simple and easy way to see the closest retailer to you.
