This post was inspired by a reader who e-mailed me asking about my daily beauty and make-up routine. After writing her back, the more I thought about it, I decided it would be great to share my favorite products on the blog with all of you. I am always looking for new products to try, yet have a few on my list that are a must have – I have noted below which products I am a die-hard fan of! I will list out my daily products and write a description with a link, as well as create a scroll through picture book underneath. I would love to hear any suggestions that you all have!
Clarisonic Mia – Total life saver! I try to only use this a few times a week so my skin doesn’t get irritated, but it is the most incredible product out there. My skin feels like every last thing that could be clogging my pores has been removed and I almost don’t even want to apply face lotion after use.
Korres Greek Yoghurt Moisturizer – I have pretty dry skin, especially in the winter, so I am always looking for a moisturizer that is thick enough to hydrate my skin, but not too sticky feeling or over powering. (OBSESSED)
L’OREAL Studio Secrets Face Primer – Helps even out your skin and set everything in place to hold your make-up longer throughout the day. (OBSESSED)
NARS Foundation “Fiji” (favorite powder) – Love that this foundation has a built in SPF, I always try to make sure at least either my moisturizer or foundation has SPF.
bareSkin Foundation “Bare Shell 02” (favorite liquid) – I actually did a review on this foundation when it first came out, you can check out my thoughts and full details here.
Bobbi Brown Bronzing Powder “medium + golden light” – I find it to be natural looking, blends easily, and lasts throughout the day.
NARS Blush “Orgasm” – Adds just the perfect amount of color to my cheeks while remaining natural looking.
Lancome CILS Booster Mascara – Literally life changing! If there is one product to invest in, it is this mascara. It is a white base that pretty much creates magic on your lashes. It lengthens them (or at least for me) so much that I have to wear my sunglasses farther down my nose! (OBSESSED)
*For regular black mascara I am a firm believer that any drug store mascara works perfectly. I honestly pick up whatever is on sale — to me it is all about the white mascara base! A few drug store mascaras I have purchased are here, here + here.
Tarte Lip Scrub – Best way to rid any dryness on your lips. A must use before applying lipstick!
