Trader Joe’s Fall Haul
October 5, 2020

The other day I shared my Trader Joe’s fall haul with you all and I wanted to have a place for it to live on the blog as well. I added in some seasonal grabs, all around favorites and a few new items to try as well. I seriously love going to Trader Joe’s, they have the best stuff at a price you can’t beat, especially for living in the city. Sadly we moved away from the closest one so I don’t get there as often, but when I do I make sure to stock up!

Drop any favorites I need to try in the comments below. I love getting recs and trying out new things.

Pumpkin Favorites

Pumpkin Chocolate Chunk Oatmeal Cookie Mix – Wanted to love this more, not bad, but I pick the cinnamon rolls 100 times over! I will say, I made these with Logan and they were super easy to do with kiddos.

Pumpkin Butter – I love this year after year. My favorite is to pick up fresh from a farm, but we haven’t been yet this season. It is great with cottage cheese, on toast, in oatmeal, etc.

Spicy Pumpkin Curry Sauce – This stuff was AWESOME! A slight kick, I paired with rice, veggies and the shrimp mentioned below.

Pumpkin Cranberry Crisp – My favorite style of cracker from Trader Joe’s. They offer two flavors year rough (both great) and then come out with a seasonal flavor for fall and winter. I always stock up! The best with goat cheese.

Organic Pumpkin – Something I always keep on hand to mix into pancakes and oatmeal and also to make a classic pumpkin fall treat.

Pumpkin Biscotti – Delish! Logan loves these and they actually take awhile for him to suck on and eat which is key when Matt and I are trying to shoot photos and keep him occupied 😉

Pumpkin Rolls – YES YES YES!!! I can’t wait to buy these again. Perfect weekend breakfast treat.

Snacks

Jalapeño Seasoned Corn & Rice Puffs – These bad boys have a KICK! Really good, but 100% not for babies.

Chocolate Sea Salt Caramel Popcorn – Salty sweet deliciousness!

Organic Dehydrated Carrots – Still need to open the bag! Will report back.

Olive & Herbs Mixed Nuts – No thank you, these were a fail for me. Not sure if I just always want a salty sweet mix, but wasn’t into the flavors/olives (and I love olives)

Watermelon Jerky – Surprisingly good! Tried for the first time with Matt’s aunts and it works as a sweet tooth cure when trying to be healthy.

Chocolate Coconut Almonds – One of my absolute top picks ever form Trader Joe’s. We go through these way too fast!

Hearts of Palm Pasta – Haven’t tried yet, but one of you said this stuff is really yummy.

Cheese + Dips

Sharp Cheddar Cheese – Just a standard basic I always grab. This makes for the best grilled cheese (and add in some of that vegan pesto…yum!)

String Cheese – We all love them, but great to have on hand for Logan.

Babybel – Same as above.

Cauliflower Jalapeño Dip – Really tasty! I try and dip raw veggies into this, but also great with pretzels and chips.

Dill Pickle Hummus – If you are a pickle fan like me, give this a try.

Artichoke & Jalapeño Dip – The best dip ever!! And not too spicy at all.

Kale, Cashew & Basil Pesto – I stock up on this, my favorite pesto. I add onto grilled cheese and love it with the cauliflower gnocchi and chicken sausage dish I make.

Meal Time Favorites

Broccoli & Kale Slaw – Easy for an on the go lunch. We will add rotisserie chicken, avocado and nuts to doctor it up a bit.

Shaved Brussel Sprouts – Sautee and add an over easy egg and even some chicken sausage.

Butternut Squash – Logan thinks these are french fries so it’s a parent win!

Spicy Cashew Butter Dressing – Still need to try.

Rasberries – Always have fruit on hand, Logan loves these and sticking them on his fingers before eating.

Porcini Mushroom & Truffle Ravioli – TO DIE FOR! Drizzle with olive oil and BAM, lunch or dinner. Also a big fan of Logan.

Jicama Sticks – Healthy alternative for dipping into dips and hummus.

Pomegranate Seeds – I usually sprinkle on my yogurt parfaits for us and Logan.

Goat Cheese – Always have on hand.

Jalapeño Peppers – I made a goat cheese, pine nut jalapeño poppers the other night. Recipe saved on my “recipe 3” highlight on Instagram.

Jicama Wraps – Eek, still need to try.

Frozen Section

Cauliflower Gnocchi – This stuff is gold! There is a special way to cook it so it isn’t mushy. I have a bunch of videos saved in my recipe highlights on Instagram, but…basically ditch the instructions on the bag. Add some olive oil to a pan and once hot add in the frozen gnocchi. You will cook over medium hight heat continually stirring and breaking up the clusters until crispy and brown on both sides.

Wild & Raw Argentinian Red Shrimp – Best shrimp out there! Raw, wild and just full of flavor. Nothing compares in my opinion.

Acai Puree Packets – Great for a quick at home acai bowl.

Tempura Cauliflower – Another gem! I usually serve over rice and with crispy broccoli. It does pack some heat, so just fyi for any littles.
