What’s in my bag: fall skincare edition! Instead of talking about an overwhelming amount of products or things in my everyday bag, I thought I would curate a few blog posts over the next month and break it down by brand. I wanted to start with Kiehl’s Since 1851 as it was a brand my brother-in-law introduced me to a few years ago. As you can tell by their name, they have been around for quite some time with a bunch of classic skincare options, but have also developed some amazing new ones along the way.
I thought I would pick my three favorites that I like to have on hand and while yes, the Body Butter is in a larger tub, you can see it is light and fluffy so isn’t too heavy, so when I have my bigger bag I carry around I do toss it in. If taking out a smaller bag I will scoop a tiny bit into a tiny container (these I picked up for storing Logan’s homemade puree, but have clearly come in handy for my needs as well!).
Also, if looking for a stocking stuffer for your man, Matt loves their Ultra Facial Cleanser! He is not a big product person, but keeps this one fully stocked. I also and curious about this Buttermask For Lips Overnight Treatment and is next on my list to try! Have any of your tried it yet and if so what are your thoughts?
My three favorite Kiehl’s products to have on hand:
Creme de Corps Soy Milk & Honey Whipped Body Butter – Since I already started chatting about this above, I will begin here. This stuff is amazing for this time of year especially when your skin starts to dry out. I alternate between using this and a coconut oil after I shower (you can also double up on both). It is air-whipped so light and fluffy, but provides a ton of hydration. I bring along throughout the day and use on my hands or if wearing an outfit with bare legs I will reapply as needed. It smells so good and a little bit goes a long way. It is also free of:
– Parabens
– Phthalates
– Sulfates
– Glycols
– Silicones
Love Oil for Lips Glow-Infusing Lip Treatment – To me, this product is the best of both worlds. It hydrates your lips and leaves them with a little glow! There are 4 shades available, mine is the Botanical Blush. It’s key ingredients are coconut oil, moringa oil and acerola cherry and one small drop will cover both your lips. FREE OF…
– Parabens
– Phthalates
– Sulfates
– Mineral Oil
Pure Vitality Skin Renewing Cream – I have to admit, my favorite part of this face cream might just be the packaging! As you can see, you push down on on one side and the other side dispenses the cream. This way you don’t have to keep dipping your fingers into the jar and it also protects all the nutrients of the product. This renewing cream helps restore and renew your skin barrier and can be used morning and night (I typically use in the morning after my face oil).
