It is finally here! The much anticipated Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. I have a major try-on currently live on my Instagram Stories and will be saving it to my highlights as well and adding things as the sale continues. Sometimes I feel like being able to see live footage of the pieces is much more helpful than just the image. Also, just my experience from the previous years, Nordstrom tends to not restock anything unfortunately. I always say if you are debating it, just order it and then if you decide otherwise it is free shipping and returns!
Incase you need a quick refresher of when the sale is live and shopable, I am breaking it all down below.
— SWEATERS + CARDIGANS —
Starting things off with this little leopard number (also comes in a crew neck version…shown under “denim”). Runs slightly oversized, wearing an XS.
Give me all the oversized sweaters! This one runs BIG, 100% size down (wearing the XS) and is available in 5 colors. In real like the color resembles more of this here (can also see detail on my Instagram Stories) and not what they have pictured.
This striped cardigan is a fan favorite each year and sells out quick. It is incredibly soft and runs slightly oversized (wearing an XS).
A stripe lightweight pullover that is perfect for summer evenings paired with distressed shorts and then transitions well into fall styled with jeans. Wearing a size XS.
A cozy cardigan with oversized pockets…such a great option for everyday wear and also would make the perfect travel sweater. 4 colors, runs oversized (wearing 0-2).
— DENIM —
These button front denim are a hot little number again this year (they sold out quick last year). I found them to run large (lots of stretch) and went down a size. Depending how tight you like your jeans you could likely go down two sizes.
Probably my favorite pair of denim from the sale and only $52. I have a thing for cropped, raw hem denim and these fit the bill! They even have a small side slit on the hem as well (shown in my Stories). I took my regular size, but they aren’t stretch so a much tighter fit, but will stretch a little with wear. Also LOVING this crewneck sweater and went with a small.
— SKIRTS + DRESSES —
I still can’t get over the price point of this suede skirt for the quality ($64)! Always love a suede skirt option for the cooler months and the detail in the zipper pockets makes it even better. Went with my normal size and also available in grey.
Another popular number from last year is back in stock in this burnt/rust color, which is perfect for fall and $45! It is form fitting and would look super cute for any pregnant mama as well. I took my normal size and also have it styled with a leather jacket below.
Surprise! One more leopard number 🙂 Such an easy dress to toss on and go. I am wearing the small here, but want to exchange for the XS (they didn’t have in store) as I find it runs on the bigger side. It has a cinched waist and pockets. See it styled with a leather jacket below.
— PAJAMAS + LOUNGE WEAR —
A soft satiny leopard pj set (also available in a blue pattern)…I will be living in this one! Runs tts, wearing a small and the total for this set is currently $50.
I will hands down be living in these moto joggers for the foreseeable future! I wish this image showed them better, but I share close up details over on my Instagram Stories. The run tts (wearing a small) and are great for travel and every day wear.
My FAVORITE pj set year after year is this one by Nordstrom. I always make sure to stock up as they are just as soft (and same quality) as my Eberjey pj’s, but a fraction of the cost ($35). They are available in a few colors and also come in a long sleeve and pant option as well. The fit is tts, I am wearing size small.
Barefoot Dreams also always has a few amazing pieces on sale (including the one pictured above), this year my eye is on THIS cardigan in particular. My reversible tank is also part of the sale, I own the white and nude colors!
I always look for a new lounge set year after year and decided on this heart print one (top + shorts)! Sets like this are my go-to lately and are perfect for around the house and walking Hads. They have a few different colors/patterns and the set is under $50.
This wool and cashmere mock-neck pullover is thinner in weight and works well with leggings or jeans! I am wearing an XS and it comes in 3 colors.
— OUTERWEAR —
Year after year, Thread & Supply comes out with the SOFTEST pullovers that go like hotcakes! I may be guilty of jacking our AC up an extra notch just so I can wear this snuggly piece around our apartment. It runs large, I am wearing an XS here and also comes in 3 other colors for $50!
While I typically try and look for a leather jacket that is a bit more affordable, I gravitated towards this one that is a bit more of an investment piece, but good quality and exactly what I was looking for. A leather jacket is something I get a great deal of wear out of, so I am okay with splurging a little bit. I am wearing the XS here, but may exchange for the small so I can fit a sweater underneath a little easier.
