How To Style Fall Pieces During Summer

This past weekend Matt, Logan, Hadley and I packed up and headed to PA to hang out with my side of the family. It is one of my favorite summer weekend escapes as our main objective is to relax. Coffee on the deck, all day swimming and lounging at my brother’s pool, followed by a yummy cookout (we did crabs and an oyster roast this time). Nothing beats these summer days and nights!

I get a lot for questions on pool “must-haves” for Logan. We have been enjoying this pool float, this sun protection hat and this fold and go travel bassinet to make naps on the go easy! We also never leave the house without this bouncer seat, it collapses flat so is super easy to store and travel with. We also love bringing a new pool float for my nieces each time we visit and this parrot and avocado are a few favorites. Hadley is not the biggest fan of water, but I love this pop-up pet pool to cool her off a bit without having to go for a swim.

While the days are hot, the nights tend to cool off a bit and with loving being outdoors (we will hang out, make s’mores at the fire pit, etc) I like to style an outfit that works for both climates. What I love about an oversized, chunky knit is that I can also pair a tank underneath, which I will wear during the day, and then toss on this sweater as the weather cools.

I have also been LOVING all the leopard print lately and had to pick up these loafer slides from Sole Society. They come in three colors and look cute with shorts, but then work wonderfully with jeans as well to take you into fall. As always, Sole Society has some of my favorite shoe and bag selections as well, and typically all fall under $100!
