#NSALE Roundups Style
Happy Friday, everyone! What better way to head into the weekend than with the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale in full swing and finally open to the public! I have been covering this sale since it started (with early access) and you can find that blog post here. In that post I go into detail about sizing (as I will below) and things I tried on and actually loved. You can also refer to my #NSale Highlight on Instagram Stories and that will have a bunch of try-ons with sizing detail, fit, etc.
While I shopped it the first time around in-store, I also placed a few online orders with pieces I wanted that weren’t in my store. I sifted through what I love and now get to share that all with you as well!
– WORKOUT GEAR –
You all know I am a sucker for workout gear and athleisure style. I mean honestly, is there anything better?! So many great pieces that are part of the sale this year. In addition to what I am wearing below, I have and love this lightweight tank from Alo, I think the back of this sports bra is amazing and will never say to to a cozy pullover (I have this in blush pink)!
Alo Long Sleeve Top (available in two colors, wearing size small) // Faux Leather Moto Leggings (high waisted + help suck you in and are amazingggggg, tts – wearing a small) // Sunglasses // Stud Earrings
– CARDIGANS –
The coziest category, am I right?! My first recommendation would be to snatch up any Barefoot Dreams item as quick as possible! They are my go-to for travel, lounging around the house or tossing on to run some errands. The material is super soft and they have a bunch of styles as well. A few other cardigans to consider, this Free People one (3 colors), love that this Madewell one is back this season (3 colors) and grey color of this steal ($52!).
– SHOES –
If in the market for an over the knee boot, this pair is perfect! Slight detailing to make it a bit unique, but classic as well. They come in three shades and are great for the cooler months ahead. When it comes to mules, this studded pair is only $50 and comes in 5 fun colors! I tried them on in store and sized up 1/2 a size. Also, this Marc Fisher bootie is back in a studded version! I have them and wear my normal size.
– LOUNGE WEAR –
I was so excited when this lounge set (top + shorts) came out this year because I bought the camo set last year and lets just say it is well loved! A few other favorites, I tried these $30 joggers on in-store (can find on my #NSale Instagram Highlights) and fell in love. I got home and immediately ordered the grey! They fit tt, I am wearing a small.
– SWEATERS –
The cozier the better! I couldn’t help but try this balloon sleeve sweater on when in-store (checkout my #NSale Instagram Highlight for footage) and think about how many ways I can wear it for the $32 price tag! Two more picks under $50 are this rib wrap sweater and this criss cross sweater (size down, I was wearing an XS in my Instagram Highlights try-on).
– DENIM –
I found three styles I absolutely love from the Nordstrom Sale and purchased all three. If you want more detail, all three are in my #NSale Instagram Stories Highlight as well as my first #NSale post! The pair I was most blown away with are the ones worn below. I love BLANKNYC, but wasn’t sure if these would live up to their $60 price tag, but they do! I’m wearing my regular size. My other two denim purchases are these button-up pair (size down) and this raw hem pair (tts).
– OUTERWEAR –
I was so excited to order this coat online since they didn’t have it in my store and hands down think it may be my favorite piece I ended up with! It does run big (I am wearing an XS), you can check out tons of close up detail on my #NSale Instagram Stories Highlight, but the material is like butter and such great quality. I have been wanting a coat like this forever, but not willing to cave and spend over $1,000 for the designer one. So happy I waited!
If you are in the market for a leather jacket, these are my two affordable picks. This one has a hood and gold hardware and this one has more of a moto style with the sleeve detailing (tried on and on my #NSale Highlights on IG).
– KITCHEN + HOME –
I could go crazy in this category (and pretty much did)! Not sure if it is just what getting older is all about, but I am okay with is and absolutely love finding amazing kitchen supplies and home decor for a deal! Obviously had to snatch up this Le Creuset set since it never goes on sale and also restocked on my favorite diffuser since I knocked mine in my office over and it broke. They also have some great rugs on sale, this style is what I layer over a jute rug in our bedroom! And if you are curious about Hadley’s pick, she’s a sucker for anything soft and cozy!
Also, any bride-to-be, we used something nearly identical to this on our wedding day for envelopes! I love that this one can be personalized.
