Spring Layers

Hunter Original Tall Rain Boots

Oh how I love being bale to finally wear some spring layers and get back to our morning routine walking to Central Park with Hadley. I have mentioned this before, but one of the things I love the most about the city (and being a puppy mama) is the “off the leash”hours in central park. It is honest dog heaven and as good as it sounds. To be honest, Hadley takes after her mama during the colder months and doesn’t really enjoy being outside for extended periods of time so we haven’t been in months. Up until 9am you are allowed to have your pup off the leash, running around the grassy park and meeting and playing with friends and it is the best thing ever!

Hadley and I typically will walk with Matt on his way to work, snap a few pictures and then play in the park a bit before heading home. We love exploring new areas of Central Park, grabbing an iced coffee from LPQ and watching the kids sail sailboats in the pond. Moving uptown was one of the best things we did and try and make the most out of our neighborhood!

The weather has been a little unpredictable, but warmed up a bit the other day with occasional showers. I tossed on my go-to lightweight jacket and favorite wellies with a comfy pair of short-overalls and cropped sweatshirt. Perfect park attire if you ask me!

Matt and I are off to Austin for the weekend, so Hadley is home with my parents at “camp grandparents”, her second favorite place ever…I always miss the sweet girl to death while we travel, but get excited for the warmer days ahead when back in the city!
