Style Tips + Tricks Travel
Self love is a real thing and I think it is so important to take a little time here and there for you and only you! That could be treating yourself to a morning coffee or planning a little getaway for yourself. Matt and I have been trying to plan more weekend/long weekend trips to get us out and about and exploring new places and take time for us away form the hustle and bustle of the city. We recently got back from Palm Springs which you all know and have Phoenix, Arizona in a few weeks! Whenever we travel for a short period of time I always opt for bringing a carry-on bag for the trip to make things easier. If you are flying, what I have recently discovered is a lot of airlines will let you have your roller suitcase and a larger “tote” as your personal item. I have pushed the limits way too many times and have found that a lot of Sole Society’s weekender bags work perfectly for this!
This Maris Duffel from their newest collection is such a great option for travel. I love the two tone fabric and the fact the bottom portion is black so you can’t see any dirt from the ground. It comes with a shoulder strap in addition to the handles which makes it easy for tossing on top of your suitcase or carrying over your shoulder.
While we are on the topic of travel, if heading to the airport and the weather allows, my #1 tip is to wear a shoe that can easily slide on and off to make the security process faster. One too many times I have worn a shoe that ties and have held up the line of people who are always in the biggest hurry. These black mules are a great option and will be coming with me to Arizona. They are available in 3 colors and have a fun pattern detail on the heel.
Would love to hear if you all have any fun trips planned or your go-to for an easy weekend/long weekend trip! Happy Friday, everyone!
