Fall Sweaters

I have recently been on the hunt for a slimming pair of pants that can work effortlessly for a day filled with meetings, but can also transition into meeting up with friends post-work. I personally always find it difficult to find work-appropriate pants that are both practical, yet stylish. So if I find a pair that checks both boxes, I am sure to share on here.

If you haven’t tried them for yourself yet, the Sloan pant at Banana Republic is one of those pants.  They are truly so comfortable and super flattering for all body types. While I gravitated towards the utility pant, they have a bunch of styles and fits. Priced under $100, this pant sits lower on your waist and has a sleek, tailored leg. I have to admit, the stretch is my favorite part; you can indulge in a yummy meal and not feel uncomfortable after. Speaking of, mid-photo shoot, we couldn’t help stopping in one of my favorite restaurants in the West Village, Rosemary’s, (you can see the twinkle lights of the restaurant in the back of some photos). The restaurant has become a staple in the Village with its picturesque interior and quaint little outdoor seating area. My go-to is a latte and mascarpone pancakes!

Last, but absolutely not least, we cannot forget about this amazing pleated sleeve top! I am obsessed with the movement of the sleeves and it is available in both black and white. If looking to start gathering transitional pieces, this sweater is perfect! I wore it recently with distressed denim short, but you can see it styled a bit more polished and dressed up below.
