If you read yesterday’s post, I talked a little bit about affordable sweaters and how they are one of my favorite things to buy and wear. The feeling of cozy meets casual is my favorite look, especially this time of year. When searching for sweaters, however, I always try to find sweaters that have a unique component – something to elevate the look from just s standard sweater. Fitting into this style perfectly, is this lighweight grey crisscross top. The texture and the criss cross detail is exactly the type of unique components I’m always on the hunt for.
It’s funny, I have been to Albany over 100+ times since Matt and I started dating 8 1/2 years ago, but we never really took time to go into downtown and walk around and explore (he lives more in the suburbs). I asked Matt to take me to a few of their landmarks and to really experience downtown, so we headed in with Hadley to walk around for a bit. I was blown away with just how beautiful Albany is, including old historic and marble covered buildings, a gorgeous fountain in the middle of a small park, and a wide open area filled with glistening water. We were downtown around sunset and the way the sun reflected off the water was beautiful. It is funny how you can easily take for granted your hometown – I can’t believe Matt never took me down here before!
