The Best Travel-Sized Beauty Products

This post idea came to me while thinking about the travel that I have coming up, the two bachelorette’s in particular where I know I want to carry-on my suitcase. It can be hard sifting through your beauty and makeup products, making sure that they are travel size regulated, but also play an important role while away. Nordstrom offers a great selection of travel friendly beauty products, which is where I typically stock up before my trip.

I decided to round up six of my favorites and explain why I always like to bring them along. They are a bit untraditional from your typical beauty pulls (i.e. face lotion, mascara, etc.), but ones I truly can’t live without when traveling.

Travel Beauty Must Haves

Lets get into the details…

The best Dry Shampoo

DETOX Dry Shampoo – Not quite sure where I would be without these mini dry shampoo bottles when I am traveling. Something about a flight that gets my hair looking real greasy real fast, but I don’t always have time to shower right when I land. This dry shampoo in particular is one of my absolute favorites, it just works really well for my hair and also gives it a volume boost and some texture. They offer two sizes of this product, so if you are needing it for travel make sure you select the 1.4oz option!

Slip Silk Pillowcase

Slip Pillowcase – Definitely not a “traditional” beauty product, but this Slip pillowcase has quickly become a beauty must for restoring my broken, damaged hair. You all know I had been (and still working on) struggling with breakage and this pillowcase came highly recommended to help with that as well as many other skin and beauty benefits. I recently found out that it also does not need to be dry cleaned, you can wash at home on delicate and let it hang dry.

Kopari Coconut Melt

Kopari Coconut Melt – For the most part by now I have swapped out my body lotion and have just been using Kopari Coconut Melt. My skin gets SO dry, especially during the winter and nothing was helping. I love the way this products seeps into my skin, it smells amazing and is 100% natural. I keep the large container at home and have the 2.5oz in my travel bag for when I am on the go.

Mario Badescu Drying Lotion

Mario Badescu Drying Lotion – I don’t know about you all, but I swear every single time I travel (especially on a plane) a pesky little breakout makes its way to my skin by the time we touchdown. This drying lotion is one of my favorite products and pretty much vanishes (or close to) any breakout over night. I use a Q-tip and place it all the way down to pick up the sediment in the bottom of the jar. Just an FYI, do not shake this product, the separation is normal and how it is supposed to be!

Tula Exfoliating Mask

TULA Exfoliate Treatment Mask – Nothing feels better after a long flight than a clean face and fresh face mask. This TULA one in particular is one of my favorites, but honestly any face mask that is travel size will do. This helps hydrate your skin from the flight and get rid of any hidden dirt and residue left behind and will have you feeling fresh by the next morning.

Best mascara for false looking eyelashes

YSL The Shock Mascara – My tried and true mascara that is a total game changer! This falls more along the traditional beauty product line, but I honestly cannot go anywhere without it. If i had to choose one beauty product only, it would be this mascara. I have shared before and after shots on my Instagram Stories (still these saved under the Beauty highlight) and it plums and adds volume to your lashes without looking super false or clumpy.
