Hi everyone, hope Monday treated you well. I am excited to share my outfit that I wore to the first night of events for New York Fashion Week. I wore the below while stopping by the Runway Ready Room and Elaine Turner event this past Thursday. I LOVE everything about the season of fall, and I embrace the darker, neutral colors in full force. These Bella Luxx tuxedo stripe trousers are my new favorites. They are chic, yet I felt like I was wearing pajamas pants the entire night. I kept things simple with a black tank, new pumps and this adorable horn necklace by Margaret Elizabeth – a jewelry designer I recently discovered and really love so many of their pieces. If you saw my instagram from the Elaine Turner event, you will see the hat (in stores only) and bag I was majorly crushing on.
As always, I love hearing all your input and feedback about my posts and questions in general. In past posts, several of you mentioned how you enjoyed my hairstyle featured above, so I wanted to break down how easy it is to achieve!
Lightly spray your hair with a soft hairspray (helps keep fly-aways down)
Use your natural part line, but use the point of a comb to define and shape it
Use that same end of the comb (see comb in picture below) to trace a two inch line down the left or right side of your head from your part to your ear
Tie the bulk of your hair back and out of the way in a pony tail
Start by your part and french braid that section of hair down to just behind your ear
