Lululemon Thong Alternatives
January 6, 2021

I told you all awhile back (and have shared via Stories) that my favorite thong in the world is one by Lululemon. It is just super comfortable, seamless, doesn’t ride up and wears well overtime. I honestly forget that I am wearing anything half the time, even during a workout! What I don’t like is the $18 price point, so I set out to find the best affordable alternative around. After hearing all your recommendations, I tried the 3 most popular responses and wanted to share/compare what I thought below.

Lululemon Smooth Seamless Thong – These Lululemon are still my #1 pick if I’m being honest! The fit, comfort & wearability just outweighs the others. You can purchase them individually for $18 (comes in 6 colors) or get a 3 pack for $48 (come in 4 color ways).

Target Laser Cut Thong – After testing them out I would say these Target ones are as close of a runner up as possible. They didn’t ride up or feel uncomfortable, all while remaining seamless. They’re at an amazing price point of only $5 and come in 9 different colors.

Under Armour UA Pure Stretch Thong – These Under Armour ones ended up being my 2nd favorite next to the Target option. They help up great with no feeling of a wedgie and are completely seamless. Comfortable for everyday wear, as well as working out. They’re not available individually, but you can purchase a 3 pack for $25 in neutral colors, as well as these fun colored options.

Aerie No Show Thong – I was hoping to love these as so many of you raved about them (so don’t let my thoughts make you shy away from giving them a try). I just could’t shake the feeling of a permanent wedgie. I think they ride too low in the back which caused this for me. If you’re looking to try them out, you can purchase them individually for $8.95 and come in 10 color options. Aerie also usually has great sales where you can snag 8 pair for $30 or 10 for $35.
