Formal New York City Style
Little white dress season is among us (finally!) and I thought there was no better way to kick it off than to share two of my current favorites with you all. What I love the most about both of these options is they work well for both work and play. Ann Taylor’s newest summer collection just hit their stores and site and I found myself lusting over so many pieces. The bold black belt in this first look is a great way to break up a traditional white dress, and I had fun matching the belt with some cute new accessories.
Although I dressed both of these looks up with some heels, I’m excited to wear them with flats in more casual settings, such a bbq or simple date night. Now that the weather is nice, Matt and I have been trying to move our date nights outdoors and dine al fresco as much as possible. Up this week is Aunt Jake’s, which is located in Little Italy and a new gem that features homemade pasta and the perfect wine selection to pair with your meal. Afterwards we plan on grabbing some gelato next door…can you tell we are seriously missing Italy?! If you all are New Yorkers, what are some of your favorite spots for date night? I recently asked for some suggestions on my instagram of your favorite NYC restaurants and the responses were so good! I will do a post soon tallying the most suggested restaurants from all of you!
A big thanks to Ann Taylor for partnering on this post!
