Fall fashion. Lets chat about it! You guys, I have been LOVING J.Crew and all their fall pieces lately. I just posted this cape-scarf (instagram here) while away this past weekend, and you all seemed to love it as much as I do. For me, dressing for fall is my favorite. From layering up, to playing around with textures, you really get to have fun with each look.
Last week, I attended J. Crew’s in-store event here in NYC, which celebrated all things fall fashion. From the moment I stepped into the store I laid my eyes on the most gorgeous velvet blazer that needed to come home with me. They didn’t have my size in-store (told ya, this piece is popular!), so I came home and ordered it online. I love the oversized fit, and think it will look adorable with black skinny jeans or even leather pants!
If looking for a great transitional sweater, the one I am wearing below is also top of my list! It comes in four colors and is a lighter weight material, making it super versatile. You can toss a chambray on underneath or simply style by itself. The ruffle sleeves are such a fun statement and add a twist to your typical top.
Also, if you are in NYC, make sure to pop into their store on Fifth Avenue in Flatiron. At the event, I learned that they have a monogramming machine (see photo below) on the second floor and you can monogram any leather you purchase! I always enjoy making things customizable and it also makes the perfect gift.
