Swim Too Deep Turtleneck Sweater

Let’s chat about fall footwear. As you know, I do love a good boot/bootie for this time of year, but I often forget that so many other styles also work seamlessly for transitioning into fall. For example, with this particular outfit, my first inclination would be to pair it with some sort of bootie. But I decided to switch things up and pair it with a fun loafer. When on the hunt for loafers, I tend to gravitate towards the pointed toe style, as they tend to elongate the leg. While I will never pass up a good leopard print, these metallic loafers by Halogen caught my eye. I knew they would be the perfect shoe to pair with easy dresses and comfy denim.

If looking for something with a bit more of a heel, I am loving this suede pair which comes in three colors! Nordstrom carries a great selection of shoes in general, particularly ones that are under $100 (and still great quality), like Halogen. The selection is continually updated, and with free shipping I typically will order a few pairs to try on and see which I like the best.

My mother-in-law came in town for the night on Wednesday and, as we always do, we headed to Central Park in the morning to stroll around. These shoes were perfect for the walk, and also stylish for grabbing breakfast out after and running a few errands.

I don’t know about you all, but I am so excited it is Friday and almost officially the weekend! Matt and I are headed to a fun festival in Central Park tomorrow (the Global Citizen festival), and plan to spend the rest of the weekend relaxing and celebrating our little fur ball’s 5th birthday (insert crying emoji, stop getting older)!!!
