Maybe it is because of my current vacation, but nothing beats a good ole summer sweater! The bigger and cozier the better in my opinion. My favorite combo of all time is pairing one with comfy, distressed, denim shorts! In honor of the cool nights here in Fire Island, I thought I would share my top 5 sweaters for summer (that can also be carried into fall).

First up, the oversized, grey, cozy knit shown in the photo above. I am not kidding when I tell ya that Urban Outfitters has some of the best sweaters at such an affordable price point! I love the darker grey color and how you can just bundle up in it on a cool night.

This cardi I wore over a tank with shorts while visiting friend’s in Burlington, but also packed it as my grab and go sweater while in Fire Island. The beaches get breezy (which is amazing), so when the sun goes in I like to have an easy sweater to toss on.

While I typically gravitate towards a traditional sweater, I also love finding ones that are a bit more on trend such as the tie/knot detailing on the side of the light weight sweater. I went with the color moss, which looks more like the color in my photo than the picture online…fyi! Also, consider this your lucky day because it is currently 40% off!

This pullover takes cozy to the next level! Coming in just under $100, I love how the sleeves can be bunched up and the sweater worn on or off your shoulder creating an overall relaxed feel.

Last but not least, one of my favorite brands that just so happens to make the most comfortable tops of all time! It is hard to pick just one favorite, but in honor of being at the beach I have to go with their “the beach is my happy place” pullover.
