INVESTING IN DESIGNER HEELS
January 25, 2017

When it comes to investing in a designer heel, there are a few things to consider before making the purchase. How often will you have an opportunity to wear them? Are they comfortable enough (relatively speaking) that you will actually wear them? Does the color compliment a lot of other items already in your wardrobe? Personally for me, whenever it comes to my first splurge of a designer product, I am a huge advocate of investing in a neutral. You know if will never go out of style, be workable with numerous pieces, and thus an overall good investment. I personally have invested in two pairs of designer heels, one black (pictured below) and the other nude.  I can say with confidence that I do not regret either of these purchases — plus, it’s nice knowing that I can fall back on one these two options when getting ready for a night, since either the nude or black is likely to go with almost any outfit.

I typically start looking for designer pieces at Nordstrom because they have impeccable customer service, which is so important when purchasing something outside your normal budget. They offer more designer items online than in store, and their free shipping both ways makes everything simple and easy. I always love scrolling through the Designer Collections tab, even if I’m not in the market for a big purchase, it’s fun to look! I have had my eye on this Chloe wallet for quite some time now and might just bite the bullet once our move is over! And as always, my favorite way to style something designer is with something more affordable. Would you ever guess my top below is just $39?!
