HOW TO STYLE NEUTRALS
January 26, 2017

While we have had non stop gloomy/rainy weather lately, yesterday the sun finally came out and it was beautiful. Hadley is acting more like herself,  so we took full advantage of this concrete jungle and walked all around the city, shot lots of content (you need to take advantage of those warm days to shoot in the winter!), and took Hadley to check out the new apartment (crazy dog mom, I know). I cannot believe our move was pushed up several weeks and I need to pack up this whole apartment over the next few days! On top of that, I’m heading to DC this weekend for two of my best girlfriends 30th birthdays. Needless to say, stress levels are high! But in many ways, I’m happy to just get the move done with and start 2017 on a fresh note.

For my morning running around, I wore this black and white look. Black and white is always one of my go-to looks, especially when I am having one of those days where I just can’t figure out what to wear. I love spicing up my outfit with fun accessories, and I found all of mine in the photos below from Sole Society. Their items are such good quality, particularly for the more affordable price point, and they constantly are having new stock arrive. I typically like to add a print to break up my all neutral look and find that an easy way to do this is through a scarf or bag. I couldn’t decide if I liked this shirt better with or without the necklace better, so I shot it both ways – what do you think?! I am excited to style this necklace with a tank, and oversized cardigan.
