This past weekend I had such a fun opportunity to team up with Jockey and Even Hotels for a stay-cation right across the bridge in Brooklyn. Jockey has been a brand I have always been familiar with for t-shirts and other lounge wear, and on this trip I had the chance to try their recently revamped active wear.  The active wear selection consists of such cute and affordable pieces that can easily go from gym to brunch. I also am a huge fan of Jockey robes, made of the perfect medium weight material.

For this trip, Jockey partnered with Even Hotels, which is a wellness hotel created around the concept of not changing your every day routine while traveling, just embracing and supporting it. Personally when I travel, even for work, I get into a rut of looking at it as vacation and fully indulging the entire time. Not saying that this is a bad thing, but I am a true believer in balance, which is what the EVEN Hotel brand is all about. They are the only hotel brand that was designed with head-to-toe wellness in mind. They offer in-room training zones, the most comfortable eucalyptus bedding, a state-of-the-art fitness studio and nourishing menu items.

A few of my favorite features from the hotel included the orange juice machine, where you can watch actual fresh oranges squeezed into your juice. I also loved that the coffee machine included four varieties of coffee and each cup was made by new beans being ground into coffee. Lastly, they place a water bottle in each room for you to use and keep and they have complimentary infused filer water throughout the hotel for you to continue to refill your bottle. Small touches like this make you feel like you are at home while traveling, making it easier to keep up with your regular routine.

While staying there, we had the opportunity to test out our new jockey gear by experiencing a hot yoga class (only a block and a half away) and doing a high intensity training class right in the hotel’s fitness facilities. The jockey sports bras are some of my favorites, I love the back of the one pictured below in particular, it looks cute peeking through their top with a cut out back. Plus I think it is important to feel good and wear something you enjoy while working out to stay motivated!

Here is a glimpse inside our staycation…

Welcomed with coffee, mimosas (all about that balance) and a make your own yogurt bar as we selected Jockey pj’s and athletic gear for the weekend.

Next up, hot yoga (first timer here) at Tangerine just a couple blocks from the hotel. Love how cute the sports bras are because I was so hot I spent more than half the class in just that.

Facials from Face Love Fitness and an in room massage from Zeel was the perfect way to relax and spend the rest of the afternoon.

We then had some down time to get ready for dinner and headed back into Manhattan for drinks and a bite at Mr. Purple. Before doing so, I snuck outside quick to snap a picture of the skyline.

The next morning I spent some quiet time in my room, lounging and getting work done and trying out some of the fitness equipment that comes with the room.

Time for a HITT class in the hotel gym…this class was amazing, but really tested my stamina!

We finished the weekend off with the yummiest brunch at French Louie not too far from the hotel. Such a great time chatting and recapping the past few days with everyone.
