It is no surprise that with living in the city I do an insane amount of walking every day. Whether I am going to the post office or grabbing a cup of coffee out, walking is my preferred way of getting around. With that being said, I always make sure to have the proper footwear on for a day on the go. While I love my casual sneaks, they don’t always work with every outfit or what my day has in store. I have found over the years that booties are a great alternative for this time of year and even with a slight life in the heel, my feet never hurt and I can easily conquer this concreate jungle.

I love the black suede and tassels on this pair I wore pictured below. The suede allows for them to be a bit dressed up if that is the look you are going for, or worn more casual as I did for a lunch date in Bryant Park. I walk with Hadley to meet Matt here often for a late lunch. They have a few great options for outdoor dining, or we will grab something from a local place right around the area and just enjoy eating outside at the park. Currently they are starting to get ready for the winter and setting up the ice rink so it has been a bit of an eye sore so we opt for eating in the front by the Public Library!
