TGIF!! A few more hours and we made it to the weekend. I am heading upstate for a wedding this weekend in the Catskills and am so excited for some quieter time spent by the lake and outdoors. The last time I was in the Catskills was for a friend’s bachelorette weekend and we stayed in one of the coolest homes to date called the Floating Farmhouse. I am tempted to try and get a group of friends together this winter and head back for a weekend getaway and relaxation. The farmhouse is a photographer and chef’s dream, and perfect for some time spent away from the city.

The one thing I don’t really look forward to when leaving the city is packing. It truthfully makes my head spin! I never think I will have enough options and I am constantly fluctuating between being hot and cold (anyone relate?!). When we rent a car it makes things easier because I don’t feel as guilty over packing, but by the time I pack up my stuff and Hadley’s it looks like Matt and I are taking a trip with a family of six! It is something I am working on, so any tips and suggestions please send my way. I did just receive this adorable weekender bag in the newest edition which includes a messenger strap (coming soon!), making a world of a difference from their older style! I will keep you posted on if I end up fitting everything in there for the weekend, but to fair, woman’s beauty and shower products alone take up a bag themselves and you all know I don’t go anywhere without this travel steamer…so I blame over packing on them!

Anyways, I wore these cute pinstripe shorts and tank for a dinner with Matt one night this week at once of our favorite local spots with outdoor seating. We both have had crazy busy work weeks and some alone time to catch up was much needed…as well as a glass of rose! Enjoy your weekend, everyone!
