We have been getting so much rain lately and the weather has been cooler than usual, what is your go-to rainy day look?

As much as I love dressing up and putting creativity into my look, I secretly get excited for rainy days where I can pull out my favorite rain boots and style something more casual. I typically find myself in jeans, my go-to tee, a cozy sweater if the weather is chilly and this trench. Depending on the temperature you can easily add or remove pieces to this look. J.Crew has the best pocket size umbrellas which are currently 25% off! Yesterday when I saw the forecast for the week I went to pull out our umbrellas and somehow Matt and I have lost all 4 of our smaller sized ones (I have a feeling if I make a trip to Matt’s office, I’m going to find them all laying on his floor…)  I am thinking I may need to pick up the gold polka dot one!

Do you have a recommendation for really moisturizing eye cream?

While I had been using this eye cream from Mario Badescu, I recently switch over and started trying a new product by TULA which I have fallen in love with. I went to an event where Dr. Raj (the creator of TULA) herself was in attendance and spoke in a very casual setting about her products and how she got to create her skincare line. She was so down to earth and truly wanted to create a line of skin care that better our bodies and nourish our skin with ingredients that are good for you. I have been waiting to share my thoughts on these products because I wanted to give myself a few weeks to try them out and give an honest review. One of my favorites is the Revitalizing Eye Cream, it is so creamy and a little bit goes a long way. You have to be careful with the skin under your eyes because it is so delicate, I have found this cream to be long lasting and a great addition to my skincare routine. The next product I am looking forward to trying is the Advanced Neck Cream. I haven’t been giving my neck the attention I really should, and quite honestly just recently have learned how important taking care of your neck is. I will keep you posted on my thoughts about this cream as well! I have listed a few other products by TULA that I have tried and really enjoy. If interested in trying out for yourself, you can get 25% off your purchase and free shipping with code: styledsnapshots25

With summer coming, what are your favorite bathing suit options for under $200, $100 and $50?

Under $200 – Coming in at $168, I just stumbled upon this adorable stripe one piece last week. I posted on my Snapchat how much I liked it and you all seemed to agree! Okay, so these two are $12 over the $200, but totally worth it. You have seen me share this style before, but it truly is my favorite suit as of lately. I love both the aloe (own this one and just found on sale for $148!!) + floral print! Make sure to read sizing info, I went with a small, but I also don’t have much of a booty.

Under $100 – Such a fun print on this two piece (top + bottom), which is collectively under $100.

Under $50Target will always be my one stop shop if I am looking for an extremely affordable swimsuit. I have countless ones from here and love mixing and matching when able. This bandeau top and these bottoms are such a great color for summer. Target is currently offering a buy 1 get 1 50% off special, so technically you may be able to go home with 2 suits for under $50!

I am not a huge lipstick gal, but want to wear a little more color on my lips, any suggestions on what may work?

Yes! While I do love a good bold lip on occasion, I tend to stay more natural as well, especially during the week for running around. I have been combining this bareMinerals lipstick in “Dream Big” and then placing this Buxom lip-gloss in “White Russian” on top for a bit of shine. This combo is perfect for everyday wear.

I live in NYC and wanted to know a few good spots to travel that are semi close by and doable for a long weekend?

Floating Farmhouse – We stayed here for my girlfriend’s bachelorette and even with the torrential down pour the entire weekend this place was magical! Super remote and a great place to relax, disconnect and make wood burning homemade pizzas. (pictures from our stay here + here)

Newport, RI – Such a fun weekend getaway and you will fall in love with all the charachter and charm. So many restaurants are on the water and your days are filled with outdoor activities such as the Cliff Walk. The cutest boutique can be found on main street called Pink Pineapple Shop.

Seagirt, NJ – Perfect for the warmer weather, Seagirt is a quaint little beach town nestled on the Jersey Shore. Whether you are riding bikes, taking a walk along the water or grabbing an after beach drink at the Parker House (which also has amazing live music), there is something for everyone. An easy train ride from the city, you will be at the ocean and completely relaxed within a short period of time.
