It can be a challenge to buy pieces that are work appropriate, but that you can also be worn out with friends and still allow you to feel stylish. Just recently I picked up this eyelet fit and flare dress from Nordstrom, which I knew would be a great option to have on hand this summer (if you haven’t noticed, when this time of year rolls around I tend to replace my little black dress fix, with a little white dress one). I paired closed toe pumps with this dress for a more work-day appropriate look. I typically carry around a larger tote that houses everything I need for the day (and can fit a pair of flats because, lets be honest, I am not making it {even close} to a full day in these heels). To add a small pop of color, I love tying a scarf around one handle of my totes.
Nordstrom has always, and remains my one-stop-shop. With living in NYC, I thought I would miss not being able to walk into Nordstrom and see everything first hand. But I have gotten quite good at online shopping and don’t feel bad about ordering lots of items to try at once because they always offer free shipping both ways, which truly makes things so easy.
