DAYTIME DRESSING
March 9, 2016

Personally, for me, the in-between of not being too dressy, but not being over dressed can be a tough one to master.  To achieve the laid back look I’m going for, I tend to have luck pairing an oversized  top, that can be slighted tucked in to dress it up a bit, and pairing a more casual heel. I just picked up these open toe booties that have a thicker heel and have been realizing they are the perfect daytime shoe. Super easy to walk around in, but also give you a bit of a dressier feel. The price tag of these is pretty nice too, coming in under $70.

I love that the weather is finally warming up and some days I can leave my coat at home or go with something light weight. I know that finding a coat that isn’t too heavy or too light can be a struggle, so I listed out a few of my favorites below. This field jacket (in mossy brown) I literally wear all the time -it is one of my favorites and can easily be worn as part of your outfit! Here is one of my favorite ways to style it for spring.
