So that whole mild-winter thing we were experiencing has come to an abrupt halt! It has been SO cold this week in the city and looks like it will stay that way throughout the weekend. For me, living in Manhattan and having to walk from place to place, means a warm (I mean crazy warm) winter parka is a no brainer. I sometimes giggle to myself when walking around that our city could be an ad for Canada Goose jackets…every grandparent down to infant sports one of these during the cooler months. Personally, in looking for a jacket, I was hoping to find a coat that was a little unique, but served the same purpose of warmth and longevity. The answer: Moose Knuckles jackets.
This is a brand I recently discovered while on my “perfect winter coat” journey. I actually discovered the brand when browsing instagram and fell in love with the unique details of their jackets. One of my favorite features is that you can custom design your coat to the color and fur combination that is most your style. The fit of the coat is a little bit slim, so make sure to read reviews and possibly size up. I typically wear an XS in coats and went with the Small and am so happy I did. I don’t think I would be able to wear thick sweaters and zip up the XS.
