Do you all have an area of your hometown that holds a special place in your heart? I grew up right outside Philadelphia and over the years I have loved to see how this little town nestled not too far from my parent’s home evolves and changes, yet still continues to stay how I have always remembered it.
Whether heading there after school to grab a bite to eat, popping in and out of the stores along the main street, making memories and even my very first kiss (sorry Matt!) on the baseball field, I love how somewhere can bring back so many memories that I now can share with Matt and our one day kids.
I couldn’t believe that I haven’t even taken Matt to this part of town over the eight years we have been together. We decided to make a day of it, strolling around and brining back some of the memories I cherish and remember.
I kept my outfit dressed up a bit with a leather midi skirt (which is a total wardrobe staple), yet remained casual for walking in my favorite black booties. What are some places or memories you all have of areas in which you grew up? I was fortunate to have lived in the same place my entire life and never move so the memories remain extra special and strong.
