When it comes to the holidays I like to splurge on something for the most important people in my life, and sometimes on myself if there is something I have been longing for all year. As I have gotten older, I appreciate more and more investing in pieces and items that will withstand time and some that I will hopefully be able to pass down to my children one day. One thing that I personally like to invest in is jewelry.  I have also come to realize that I am a minimalist with jewelry, especially when it comes to investing in a higher end piece (I know, this is quite the 180 from when I was constantly wearing “statement” necklaces when I started this blog).

Today, I tend to choose pieces that are on the daintier side and compliment my outfit in a subtle, yet beautiful way.
