Let’s face it – we all live extremely busy lives, and sometimes the easiest way to get dressed and out the door is sticking with an all black ensemble. Seriously, I am surprised that my coated black pants don’t have holes in them yet, based on the amount of wears they have been through! I highly recommend investing in a pair if you don’t already have one, they will be the peanut butter to your jelly. When I am uncertain where my day/night will lead, or just not in the mood to spend a ton of time digging through my closet, I always go with an all black look. Plus, it really is the definition of New York City in the winter. I will often add a touch of color elsewhere, such a bold lip, bag, shoes, or jewelry—it helps make the outfit your own. This Nautica color block peacoat has been a savior this week as the temperatures dropped – it’s so easy and goes with so much. Is anyone else REALLY ready for a three day weekend?!
