SUMMER IN BRYANT PARK
June 9, 2017

Before Matt and I moved, I used to go to Bryant Park on a daily basis. Whether I was shooting an outfit, grabbing a coffee from my favorite stand or meeting Matt for a lunch date in the park. It became routine and something I (and Hadley) would look forward to. Fast forward to our move, we are no longer a quick walk from here, and I don’t get there as often, but have realized when I do I appreciate all it has to offer so much more. It is definitely one of the most lively, and fun parks in the city.

The other morning was absolutely beautiful, I had to get out and explore. I told Matt I wanted to head to Bryant Park just like the old days so I decided to jump on the subway with him to work. If you are in the city, I have learned that heading to these parks or “touristy” places are best to do so early in the morning. The crowds tend to be at bay and you mainly have people just passing through on their way to work.

I tossed on a more casual outfit, but added a small heeled sandal to elongate my legs in these jeans. Taupe is one of my go-to colors, especially this time of year because it truly goes with anything. Whenever I know I will be out for a few hours, I tend to grab a larger size bag that will hold everything I need. This one is new from Sole Society and I am obsessed with the braided handle detail. It comes in four colors and the faux leather is so soft I truly thought it was the real thing!
