Happy Monday, everyone! Where did the weekend go? I spent it down the shore for our friend’s wedding and it could not have been a more beautiful weekend. It made me realize how incredible those warm summer nights are and that spending time outdoors is hands down my favorite. On my train ride down to the shore I was shopping online and searching the web and came across some amazing pieces and items. To kick off the week, I thought I would share a few things I have recently purchased or have my eye on that you all may enjoy as well!
This is the scalloped dress I wore to the wedding this weekend. I knew it would be a hot day and this dress was perfect. Dainty detailing dressed it up a bit, but it also remained “seashore chic” which was the theme of the wedding! The bride advised us to wear wedges or a thicker heel shoe, so I went with this pair because I fell in love with the embroidery detail on the back of the heel.
As summer rolls around, I am finding the need to redecorate our living room area a bit with some lighter tones for this time of year (stay tuned for a full post). I just recently discovered how amazing (and expansive) Urban Outfitters “home” section is and fell in love with these cute decorative pillows and this blush throw! I also have been obsessed with Gray Malin’s work, but haven’t been able to bite the bullet yet to purchase one. I found a similar print here that is a fraction of the price, but works perfectly above our couch!
With summer here, us girls wear a variety of tops and dresses that require strapless bras, a bralette, petals or something of that sort. My all-time favorite strapless bra is this one from ThirdLove. It actually stays up and is comfortable to wear for an extended period of time.
