The 4th of July is right around the corner, do you have any favorite pieces that are festive but not over the top?

Yes! I find it tricky at times to balance embracing the holiday, but not a walking American flag billboard. If you remember, I posted this adorable dress that is nearly half off in this post, which is a great option. This swim suit (the back is too good) and this ombre cover-up (under &60) is another favorite to get into the holiday spirit, but can also be worn throughout the summer. Listing out a few other favorite pieces below.

I am looking for a cover-up that can easily go from the beach to dinner, any ideas?

I love this convertible black romper and the best part is that it is only $38! The back is so fun and the material is so comfortable and wont irritate your skin if your swimsuit is still wet. The neckline and waist straps allow you to wear this romper a bunch of different ways.

I am going to a cookout, what is a favorite summer recipe of yours?

So my mother-in-law made this amazingly yummy mandarin chicken pasta salad the other weekend while we were visiting. It was perfect for lunch and very flavorful. She also said it was easy to make, so it is fore sure on my list of to-do’s!

I love the choker trend, but need help choosing a few that aren’t too over the top. Any suggestions?

You and me both, girlfriend! This trend is great and there are so many awesome chokers to choose from, especially at an affordable price point. Listing out my ultimate favorites below!

You are always talking about dry shampoo and trying out different ones, do you have a favorite?

So this couldn’t be more true, I am always on the hunt for new dry shampoos because I have found some work better for different things (more volume if doing a topknot, etc.). My friend Marissa introduced me to Alternative Caviar Anti Aging dry shampoo which on a trip together and since then I have been obsessed. It is by far my favorite everyday one to use and unlike others that are aerosol spray, this one is a powder. While skeptical at first, I love how the tip of the shampoo is cone shapes are really gets into your roots. It is light weight and doesn’t feel like you have clumps of dry shampoo in your hair. It is on the pricier side, but you honestly need such a small amount each use it will last forever1

Question for you all:

I have had my eye on these sandals, and they have been sitting in my cart for over a week. Do you all like them? Think they are practical for this time of year? Help me decided! Thanks 🙂
