I’m sure by now you all have seen quite the variation of chambray pieces for spring. While I typically wear a chambray button-up year round, it isn’t until this time of year where I begin to incorporate this material into other pieces. It works great as a neutral and typically is a no-fuss item where you can grab from your closet and go (probably why you can find me an a chambray running errands at least one day a week). While on the slightly more challenging side to dress up, chambray pieces are great for every day wear and more low key occasions.
This off the shoulder dress caught my eye with the ruffle detailing and comes in under $60. I am always looking for affordable pieces that are worn more seasonal, and Express has really impressed me lately. I don’t always pop into the store when I walk by, but the several pieces in the window have caught my eye lately. I have also really like their online store, which offers a much more robust collection of pieces. They other day I took advantage of their 30% off select items sale and ended up getting four items for $129.
