I know it is hard to believe, but the holiday season is quickly approaching. There is always so much to do and never enough time. Personally, my holiday to-do list gets longer each year, so I always try to start checking things off my list earlier in the season. This year, I have teamed up with TOMS for Target to create a gift guide for the upcoming season. I decided to compile a list of favorite gift giving items under $100, $50 and gifts that give back. Like many of you probably know, TOMS implements the incredible One-for-One program all year around, and now with their Target collaboration for every gift purchased, a gift will be given to someone in need. 

As much joy as the holiday season brings, it is important to remember those that are less fortunate and to keep in mind the importance of gifts that continue to keep giving. A few years ago Matt and I decided to start our own tradition of working with New York Cares and “adopting” a child for Christmas, which means we get to help fulfill their Christmas wish list and provide them with toys and items that they otherwise would not have. This is a charity that both Matt and I hold close to our hearts and one that we will continue to work with year after year and one day have our children involved in.

Whatever holiday you celebrate this season, I hope you get to spend time with loved ones and cherish the things that we may take for granted. Don’t stress about finding the perfect gift for someone special, but rather enjoy the moments and memories that the holidays are all about. You can volunteer in your community, make your own gifts, or give a gift that keeps on giving!
