I can hardly believe we’re more than halfway through August and the official first day of fall is just a few weeks away. The weather here in Connecticut has finally started to cool off and I’ve been excited to pull out some of my lighter weight sweaters. I love the comfy fit of this polo sweater and it’s light enough to wear now with shorts if you live in a warmer climate. Nordstrom carries a wide variety of brands and is always a go-to when shopping for sweaters. I pulled together a few of mine that I own as well as a few fall favorites that I have my eye on.

If you’ve been following me for a while, you know that I prefer my sweaters to fit oversized and love a good chunky knit. I grabbed this chunky knit sweater to wear now on cooler beach nights and it’s the perfect length to wear later with leggings and boots.

If you’re in the market for a pair of shoes to transition along with your sweaters, I can’t recommend these flats enough. They come in 4 colors for under $70 and the buckle accent makes it easy to dress up a causal outfit. I sized up a half size for the pointed toe.
