I truly love this time of year where the mornings are cool and crisp and mid day warms up to the high 60’s/low 70’s. Shirt jackets are back this year and I couldn’t be happier. I feel like it is the perfect layer for the weather we are having. Although I typically style them with leggings or jeans, I wanted to try out something a bit more dressed up for a date night option. Nordstrom always has the best selection of affordable shirt jackets, Treasure & Bond and Thread & Supply are two of my favorite brands by them! I am always a sucker for anything camel colored, but I also have been eyeing up this longer length blue one.

Layers are always fun to play around with this time of year and the camel and black combo is always a go-to of mine. I linked my exact body suit below, but also love the puff sleeve detail on this $39 option. A couple other key players to have on hand when layering would be a longer white button up, a legging friendly sweater and a scoop hem tank.
