Comfy Casual
December 11, 2019

Two words accurately depict my style most of the week: comfy casual! But just because I enjoy being comfy, doesn’t mean toss fashion out the door. A few years ago, my brother-in-law introduced me to a former co-worker who lived in Brooklyn and was starting a clothing line (hint, hint, Dudley Stephens) with her sister out of their apartment. They took a passion and the need for something cute, yet warm for a cool summer evening on the Long Island Sound, and turned a dream goal of reimagining fleece into a reality.

What I love the most about each piece is that they can work both for lounging around the house, or dressed up a bit for lunch in town, errands, you name it! In my opinion, they have NAILED the perfect turtleneck style in many of their pieces, but one of my favorites will always be the Park Slope Turtleneck.

I packed up a bunch of these cozy pieces for our trip upstate this last weekend. Temps were chilly and I wanted outfits that were practical, yet elevated! Part of their more recent collection is this Brooklyn Bomber Jacket in Brushed Fleece. It comes in 6 colors and as always, I love the high neck detail, which is great this time of year for keeping the wind away! I paired it with the Park Slope Turtleneck mentioned above and these joggers!

This week, when back in the city, it was rainy and gross outside. So I kept things casual and wore my Prospect Pullover with leggings and slippers. This pullover is incredibly soft and lighter in weight. I think the neon detail is so fun as well!

When I was checking out their site for holiday gift ideas I stumbled upon their kids line and everything is adorable! While Logan is still a bit too small to fit into anything (starts with toddlers), I will 100% be grabbing some pieces in a year or so!

What I’m Wearing:

A big thanks to Dudley Stephens for partnering on this post!
