Shearling Trim Booties
November 18, 2019

This past weekend Matt, Logan and I finally hung around the city and it was so nice to unwind and relax without having to pack and head out of town. On Saturday we headed down to the Lower East Side to try a new (to us) brunch spot with some friends called Sonnyboy. If you can, try and get there before 4pm to enjoy their brunch menu, the burrata fig toast, crispy chicken sandwich and hotcake were amazing! We did have Logan and while they were super accommodating it is not a big restaurant so figuring out a place to store the stroller and car seat were a bit tricky, but we made it work. Sharing this more as an FYI if you were trying to go with a few kids and strollers etc.

The weather has been cool so I bundled up in these black leggings and tweed coat (size down), oversized thermal and new shearling trim booties. If looking for a cute and casual winter boot, I love this pair. It comes in 3 colors and the material is suede. Just a heads up, if you are wanting to wear with a thicker sock like I did, I would recommend going up a half a size! I kept my traditional size and had to wrestle a bit to get my foot in with this sock.

Overall, if you can’t tell, I have been living in leggings lately, but justify them since this faux-leather pair seems a but more dressed up than what I wear to Pure Barre! They just go with so much, are comfortable and can be styled a million ways. Also, #momlife 🙂 Are you all into leggings?!
