Transitional Fall Outfit
August 13, 2019

I can’t believe I am typing this, but as much as I love summer and don’t want it to end, fall and fall clothing is hands down my absolute favorite. Right about now I start looking for pieces to take me into the next season. The other night it was in the low 70’s so I loved being able to toss on this camel sweater over my tank while we enjoyed dinner outdoors.

One of my go-to ways of slowly transitioning into fall with my style is by my shoe choice. This smoking slipper (8 colors) is such a great option to take you summer to fall, as well as this loafer slide (3 colors). Both look cute paired with shorts (styled that way here), but also with a pair of cropped pants like I am wearing below. I also prefer both of these shoe options for travel because they are easy to take on and off (anyone else always taking their shoes off in the car?!).

While summer wraps up in a few more weeks, Matt and I have started to plan our fall bucket list and this year is even more fun thinking of things to do since we have Logan! I have a feeling the pumpkin patch will be way more exciting this year 🙂 Do you all make a list of things you want to try or do each season? Maybe I will share ours with you all once it is a bit more finalized! Until then, you can find me soaking up every last little drop of these perfect summer days and nights.
