A few years ago a French brand called Sézane planted roots in NYC. Instantly, I was intrigued as I love European fashion and their SoHo store lives up to their chic and trendy name. Better yet, they are also online and offer a wide variety of clothes, accessories and shoes and their summer collection is on point.
For our summer escape this past weekend, I packed up two of my favorite Sézane pieces as we headed out east to Shelter Island (full travel guide to come). I knew our days would be filled with lot of beach lounging and with having Logan in tow this one piece was perfect. The bow back detailing is my favorite and it held up perfectly while hanging on the beach and paddle boarding. One of my favorite things about one piece swimsuits is that I can easily pair with shorts and have a full outfit that I would be comfortable wearing to lunch or happy hour.
During the evenings, with Logan along, we would try and pick places with outdoor seating to enjoy some fresh air. I wore this white maxi dress our first night and it was perfect for the slighter cooler temps. I am 5’5 and felt that this dress hit just above the ground at the perfect spot allowing me to wear flat sandals. I love all the unique details on this dress, from the ruffle sleeves, deep cut on the back and pattern around the neckline. It really is such an easy number to wear and perfect for a summer night.
