This past Labor Day weekend Matt and I packed up and headed out of the city and to PA. We spent a few days with my family and then decided to spend a night (about 24hrs) in New Hope, PA (full blog post to come). It is about an hour drive from my parents and the cutest little town filled with tons of restaurants and bars. Everything is walkable and we spent part of the day popping in and out of all sorts of vintage/antique shops.
While the days were warm, the nights cooled off a bit, so I packed up a few of my fall favorites including this new pair of taupe booties from Sole Society. You all hear me talk about Sole Society often, but truly the quality of their product for the price point is hard to beat. I find myself constantly packing their shoes for when I travel, because even their booties are so comfortable to walk around in! I also was in the market for a new beige bag that would pair well with most outfits and this one hit the mark. I love that it has a removable shoulder strap, but can also be carried in your hand or on your arm.
I have mentioned before that I love a good cross body/shoulder strap bag so my hands can be free, especially when traveling. I am constantly shooting content for my travel guides and popping in and out of stores where I love to check out different items, which is always easier with two hands.
For this trip I tried to pack a bunch of basics that I could easily mix and match, hoping to minimize over packing (working on this one). This leopard top is a new purchase and while I loved it with black denim it also looked cute tucked into high waisted shorts. As far as accessories, when traveling, I always stick with basics, particularly when it comes to shoes and bags. Less is always more, as hard as that can be! Hope you all had a wonderful long weekend!
