Transitioning Into Fall
August 17, 2018

fall outfit inspiration

Lately, I have found myself purchasing pieces that can easily transition into fall. Dare I say I have also reached for my ankle booties once or twice on the cooler days! Layers, layers and more layers are the trick for buying pieces for now and wearing later as well. This fitted dress is such a body friendly (and wallet friendly – $56) find that also comes in 14 different colors. It is such an easy piece to wear on its own, or toss a cardigan over and pair with booties for fall.

Speaking of booties, Sole Society always has a bunch of my favorites year after year. This style is the River bootie and I also own them in taupe, but thought this leopard print was fun for a change. They are so comfortable for a day out and about, walking all around. When not pairing with a dress, they also look adorable with cut-off shorts or your favorite denim.

I have also been loving Sole Society’s accessories to begin to take me into the cooler season. I styled their wide brim wool hat below, but also love this cocoon cardigan and wool beanie. Matt and I are headed to Portland, Maine later today and the temps are in the low 70’s, so a few of these pieces will be packed in my bag for sure. I hope you all have a great Friday and wonderful weekend!
